Lloyd Ray Oskin Jr. (Butch), 67, of Winston-Salem, NC, passed away on April 22, 2014, after a short illness. A memorial service will be held at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home at the Gazebo on April 25th at 11:00 am. Chaplain Rennie M. Adcock will be officiating. The funeral will be a private family gathering. Butch was born in Elrama, Pennsylvania on June 19,1946. He graduated from Clairton High School and joined the Navy after graduation. Butch was predeceased by his Dad, Lloyd Ray Oskin, Sr. He leaves his Mom, Edith Mary Oskin, his brother Frederick Oskin and his family, his sister Diane Oskin MacFarlane and her family. Butch had five children, Marlene Oskin Maffe, Mechele Oskin Sheehan, Lora Rae Oskin Rancatti, Lloyd James Oskin of Massachusetts and Leisa Oskin Gleasson of Virginia Beach, Virginia. He is fondly remembered by his beloved grandchildren, Devon Liam Sheehan, Cortney Mechele Maffe, Bethany Lora Maffe, Abigail Kaitlyn Glisson, Madison Grace Glisson and his great granddaughter, Tegaen Rae Maffe-Feugill. He will also be missed by several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent to the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103 or the SECU Family House, 1970 Baldwin Lane, Winston-Salem, NC, 27103. We wish to thank the following; Wake Forest Baptist Medical center, the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice and the SECU Family house for their generosity, kindness and prayers.
