Loading in another production of The Little Mermaid today for the next week. Really great people but I need to address gender pronouns with them somehow. Been male pronouns all morning and they havent picked up my gentle hints, so Ill have to deal with more direct conversation about it. I hate having to trans educate all the time. Too bad people seem to just focus on my male aspects and somehow never see all of the femininity thats happening too. Sometimes its so dismaying when I feel ok about myself but then everyone just sees me as a man :( any advice on the best way to correct them on gender pronouns without it being awkward?
