Local Alert Weather Forecast, Mon., Dec. 8, 2014 Overcast skies this morning will stay with us through the day and with the advance of a fairly weak cold front, we can expect some rain showers through the late afternoon and into this evening. Highs will reach the low to mid 50s. The passage of theat front will also motivate southerly winds to pick up to 10-20 mph with gusts higher in some areas. Showers will taper off overnight and allow fro some partial clearing by morning. Lows will stay fairly mild, in the low to mid 40s, and southerly winds will pick up a bit more to 15-25 mph. We will stay breezy for the next couple of days as a second front pushes through the region. This front will be wetter, bringing more rain Thursday and Friday. Behind that front will be some much colder air, so watch temperatures steadily drop. We will see highs in the 30s and lows in the 20s as we go through next weekend.
