Local Authority By - Election, Ward 14 of Chivi Rural District Council The Zimbabwe Electoral Commission notifies the public in terms of section 121A of the Electoral Act (Chapter 2:13), that a vacancy has risen in ward 14 of Chivi Rural District Council. The nomination court for purposes of receiving nominations of candidates for election as councillor for the aforementioned ward shall sit on Friday, 01 August, 2014 commencing 10 oclock in the morning and closing at 4 oclock in the afternoon at the The offices of the Chief Executive Officer, Chivi Rural District Council, Chivi Growth Point, Chivi. The Zimbabwe Electoral Commission has fixed Saturday, 6th September, 2014 as the day on which a poll shall be taken in the said ward if it becomes necessary in terms of Section 125 (4) of the Electoral Act (Chapter 2:13).
