Locally produced travel documentary on coffee and tea growers is seeking an editor and collaborators. Contact information at the end of the post. Aim: To form a small team of editors and videographers, to work on 3 core projects. 1. Editing the currently gathered footage for use in promotional material and fundraising. 2. Launching the program website, maintaining it, and filming additional content for it. 3. Filming the first series, in South America in late 2015 What is the goal?: Through both the travel series, and the website, the goal is to spread awareness and education on the subjects of tea, coffee, traded goods, ect, as well as maintain a baseline of being an entertaining travel show, without the typical host/presenter setup. Rather, utilizing a follow the leader shooting style, with every step of the journey captured on camera, not a location to location style production. What we need: Individuals that have experience in editing video, and in on the fly filming, as well as more structured interview/documentary style filming. Dedication, creativity, and the ability to work with a small team. In summary: Wed like to build a group that would be willing to work on the project from now to the end of the production. Were all students ourselves, and thusly are doing this so as we can build up experience in our own respective areas of interest. That being said, we understand that commitment to a project like this may be problematic for those in the middle of schooling, wed like to provide an opportunity to work with any students that feel they may have some time to put towards it, even if theyre unable to travel with us, or work on the latter phase of the project. We hope that through this endeavour we can gain both practical and life experiences, that can be shared with the world, through online posts, and television media. Contacting us: Please dont hesitate to contact us if you have any questions! Thank you! Jon Patterson - Project Coordinator Tecotravel@gmail 250-857-5951
