Locals: If you have concerns about the St Tammany Parish schools curriculum, please try to attend tonights meeting where some ideas for improvements may come to fruition. It may also be a night of excuses, but either way you cannot make change if you are not there. If you wish to speak you need to arrive by 6:45 pm and sign up. You do have a voice as a parent and taxpayer and you can use it. If you have concerns about the curriculum you need to show up and make your voice heard. If you are FINE with it and its all hunky dory then show up too!! We get constantly told teachers love it, but thats not what they tell ME in confidence. So show up, speak your mind and be involved in your childs education. I cant do this forever...my kids arent even IN the system anymore! St. Tammany Parish Public School System
