Located in a residential area near the main street and beach in Durres. Slightly scratchy impression of the area but it changes when you come in at Hotel Albion. We stayed here for a week and got on excellently well. The rooms are located on the top 3 floors. Lift available from reception on first våning.Kortare power outages are common in Albania. No problem for us, but on some occasions we had to take the stairs up to 8 floor. The room was nice and clean. Comfy bed, refrigerator. Large balcony with sea views. Nicely decorated bathroom. Shower and tub, which was great. The maid did her utmost to us and provided us with new soft towels when needed. We had problems with the shower one evening, but within 10 minutes it was fixed by the hotels techniques. Great service! They even have its own brewery with good beer. A restaurant next to the Albion Hotel serves delicious grilled meats, try it! There is also a small shop close. Valbona and all the staff were very nice and did their best for us to thrive. Would not hesitate to book this hotel again, highly recommended!
