Location: Chain grocery store I walk in to look for one item(which they didnt have) and as usual end up with WAY more stuff, Im standing at the check out line as the cashier rings up all my items when a lady walks in the store. She looks around and decides to come right up to me(about 5 feet away). She smells like booze, doesnt look very clean and sort of like shes had a tough life, but has a huge grin on her face... Lady: How you doing? Me: well thank you, how about yourself? Lady: Im good, do you have kids? Me: aaahh(wondering where this is going) no I dont She moves in closer and tells the cashier shes GOT THIS, pulls out her food stamps card Me: maam, I appreciate it, but I can get it myself Lady: Dont refuse your blessing young lady Cashier:(to me)aahh... do you want me to call the manager???I dont think she can do that Lady: I am paying for this lady She looks me in the eye and says you were nice to me, just go to church and pray and thanks God for his blessings. Swipes the card, gives me a hug and walks away wheeling a little suitcase. I drove home in tears...#payitforward Note to self: Always TRY and be kind to everyone :)
