Location: Primarily Jackson County, IN Job Title: Crop Production Operator Contact: Mark Kamman Job Status: Hourly- Full Time/Part Time FLSA Status: Exempt-Agriculture Summary: Crop Production Operator is responsible for operating production equipment, maintenance of farm equipment, maintaining the appearance of the farm, and assisting the Operations Manager in achieving farm production goals. Background Qualifications: • Education and Experience o High School Diploma or GED required o Driver’s License/ CDL A o Minimum of 2 years crop farm production experience • Technical Knowledge o Excellent verbal and written communication skills o Possess a positive attitude and is a team player o Possess a high level of attention to detail o Ability to adjust plans and actions based on changing circumstances o Excellent verbal and written communication skills o Possess a positive attitude and is a team player o Possess a high level of attention to detail o Ability to adjust plans and actions based on changing circumstances o Physical Requirements o Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently, and up to 70 pounds occasionally o Ability to stand, walk, and squat frequently o Ability to withstand dusty conditions and outside weather conditions o Ability to work long hours during busy season Requirements- Duties: • Communicate daily with Operations Manager on scheduling and logistics and efficiently perform all tasks assigned by manager • Operate equipment used in production • Supply delivery to field (seed, fertilizer, chemicals, etc.) • Maintenance of equipment including daily preventative and repair maintenance • Maintain the appearance of the farm and of landowner properties See Job Posting at: kammansfarms/CPO_2014.pdf Apply at: kammansfarms/about/employment.html
