The Supplier Management Program (SMP) team works on challenging projects within the Global Procurement Organization (GPO) to improve performance, quality and ensure compliancy. With the new SMP Supplier qualification process we enhance our supplier check services based on the regulations of our Global Compliance and Corporate Audit organization. Global Procurement SAP China is looking for an intern to join the Supplier Management Program. EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS • Assess the qualification of potential suppliers in regard to compliance, financial figures, legal aspects and sustainable business. • Add value by working in supplier management projects & minimize risks through your proactive contribution in the team • Contact suppliers & sent out questionnaires to them • Track qualification status with MS Office • Maintain supplier profiles in Ariba SIPM • Prepare weekly status for the project management EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Student (f/m) at a university or university of applied sciences, preferably in business administration, economics, industrial engineering and applied informatics or students with the following skills: • Self-organized, proactive, trustworthy and reliable person • Well-structured way of working & results oriented • Able to cope with complexity and flexible regarding new requirements • Analytical thinking • Fluent in written and oral Mandarin and English • Flexibility and an ability to work as a team player • Good skills in MS Office, especially in Excel • SAP ISP system knowledge would be advantageous • Affinity to work with software Source / Apply: jobs.sap/job/Shanghai-Procurement-Intern-Job/81644600/ Apply to this job #Beijing #News
