Location: Wasilla Case number: AK14067971 Type: DUI/Reckless Driving/DWLS/Endanger Welfare of a Child X7/Reckless Endangerment X7 Text: On 8/30/14 at approximately 2043 hours, Alaska State Troopers received a REDDI report of an intoxicated driver located at W Point Makenzie Road and S Lu Young Lane. Troopers located and conducted a traffic stop on the 1999 Ford F350 near Knik Goose Bay Road and Homestead Road in Wasilla. Investigation revealed Kile Thimsen, age 33, was driving recklessly while severely intoxicated with 7 small children unsecured within the vehicle. Additionally, Thimsen was driving while license suspended. He was subsequently arrested and charged with DUI, Reckless Driving, DWLS, 7 counts of Endangering the Welfare of a child 1st degree and 7 counts of Reckless Endangerment.
