Logan Monday update. Yesterday and today have been a little rough. Logan has had fevers now for the last few days and has maintained a low grade fever again all day today. Dr Quan ordered and ultrasound which they performed around 1 today. Dr Quan was reviewing the results and called for a radiologist for consultation. We still hasnt got the results from the ultrasound but Dr Quan then asked for an MRI from his abdomen to his toes. He has just been taken down for this procedure and it will last around 3 hours. Logan has had added a blood pressure medication because his pressure has been rising over the last 48 hours and a blood thinner. Several of his IVs have had to be moved due to the increasing risks of blood clots. The one in his foot was taken out completely due to some bleeding and the large set of lines that are in his left arm has been moved three times now and is located on the inside of his bicep. Needless to say he does not enjoy the placement of this one. Some good news is that he is able to urinate on his own and his good kidney seems to be functioning well. Dialysis was cancelled for today but does stay on the board for tomorrow depending on his daily lab results. He has had some nausea and vomiting yesterday and today so he has not been able to eat they may have to put the feeding tube back in tomorrow. Some light rehab has begun and Logan has been able to sit at the edge of the bed and he even stood up, took three steps and sat in a chair for 30 minutes. I will update everyone again as soon as we get some results in hopefully tonight. Thank you
