Skills and qualifications: • Matric (Grade 12) • Minimum 5 years’ experience • Accpac computer experience • Computer literate • Excellent people skills • Motivational skills • Strong leadership skills • Good planning and organizational skills • Strong written and verbal communication • Efficiently interact with all levels of customers • Deadline orientated • Able to work under pressure • Good listening Skills Duties: • Product delivery schedule are communicated with customers and relevant internal departments • The freight company works closely with the company to assure efficient and effective execution of processes, delivery at best price. • The proper codes, paperwork, pricing and authorization is obtained for invoicing to the customer for each file • Freight invoicing is checked for overcharge / undercharge against quotation received and cross checked with what was invoiced to customer • Accuracy of physical inventory order sequence by entering inter-company purchase orders and inter-company transfers into the system following defined processes • Supply / customer agreements are done and updated when required • Support to sales, logistics and stores department • Verifying inventory locations and availability of shipment against requirements specified in purchase orders • Reviews inventory position daily and weekly against outstanding orders and sales forecasts and takes action to expedite inbound shipments to meet customer demands • Supervise to effectively resolve inventory or order discrepancies • Communicates fulfilment status and / or issues within the organization to points including supply planning, logistics management and sales • Coordination of delivery and collection of customer orders done by warehouse staff and company driver • Inventory level verification and checks of different warehousing facilities • Verify price schedule, discount rates and costing • Review operational records and reports to project sales to determine profitability • Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and services • Direct clerical employees to keep records of export correspondence, quotation requests and credit collections and to maintain current information on tariffs, licenses and restrictions To apply for this position, send your CV to [email protected] with “Logistics Manager” in the subject line.
