Ensure receipts and shipments occur in a timely and prioritized manner. Maintain 100% inventory accuracy on stock shelve, in transit or at third party facilities and ensure such accuracy is reflected in company computer database. Develop shipping matrix and guidelines for purchase, sales, repairs and shipping department. Negotiate shipping rates. Manage freight and warehouse budget with the goal to be under budget Develop relationships with global and local freight forwarders based on reliability, rates, and service. Annual or ongoing physical inventory cycle count. Ordering of warehouse supplies , packaging supplies, crates, pallets, pallet racks. Training warehouse and shipping staff on how to package products, handle hazardous materials, and coordinate freight movements. Communicate effectively to product, sales, and quality teams for all projects, import/export regulations, internal challenges, and suggestions to improve performance. All other duties as assigned.
