They could have achieved the same outcome by STOPPING THE CORPORATE WELFARE to big oil ($80 BILLION A YEAR OF TAX PAYER DOLLARS HANDED OVER TO CORPORATIONS EXPERIENCING RECORD PROFITS.. an old bailout to oil from the 70s that never had been pulled back EVEN THOUGH oil companies say they dont need it).. Trickle down economics didnt work during Regan, in fact his admin created the largest deficit in history at that time, it didnt work during Bush one, Bush two was left with a huge surplus from Clinton, gone and he checked out the last 6 months of his presidency when our country was entering financial collapse after driving debt through the roof due to funding a war... 6 yrs into Obama admin, we produce more oil in the hostory of the US, WILL BE THE #1 producer in 2016, wall Street is hitting records, unemployment is less than 6%, GDP is one of the best in the world.. The fastest growing economy post economic crisis in the world.. All under this admin and DURING GRIDLOCK due to both parties caring more about their election than the people they are supposed to represent. So here ya go middle class.. Right on the rear end from the party that had your interest at heart... Psssch.. Joke. All the founding fathers of our constitution were fanatic about keeping CORPORATIONS out of our government and preventing monopolization of the markets.. This is why.
