*Long Island, New York* - And surrounding region. Offered For Lease: Cracker is a 15 year old TB standing just shy of 17 hands. He was pin-fired and trained to race but never made it. His current owner has had him since he came off the track and re-started him at 4 years old. She competed with him in the hunters and jumpers up to the 36. He has also been used in a local dressage lesson program. He is currently located in SW Virginia where he was used by a friend for trail riding, light work, and occasional jumping over the past year. This type of home is the ideal situation we are now trying to find him once he moves back up north. His mom is moving to Colorado and would like to find someone interested in caring for, loving and riding Cracker back home where her friends can occasionally check up on him. He is a moderate keeper who with the proper diet easily maintains his weight. Hes currently sound being shod upfront and barefoot in the back. Cracker is a straight forward, quiet ride (often requiring a small spur or crop) but we are asking for at least an intermediate rider as he does not like to have his face hung on (children are okay).
