Long ago the Delhi metro was known for its efficiency and meeting deadlines, but now the Delhi Metro and technical snags have gradually become synonymous. Downfall of a good image of Delhi Metro started way back when under-construction pillars and slabs started falling or showing cracks, indicating poor supervision and workmanship. It was followed by undeclared and regular 15 to 20 minutes unofficial halts at Yamuna Bank on the blue line due to absence of the concept of time synchronization. Now it is a regular feature of this section. It was easy to excel for the DMRC when the quantum of operation was small but they have not been able to keep that up with the growing operations. A new proof is evident by running the metro, today, for fifteen minutes with a door of one coach open, near ArjanGarh and Ghitorni.
