Long before Tom Petty fought the law (and the law won), Bobby Fuller sang the very same song, as he was the one who wrote it. The Bobby Fuller Four were destined to be BIG in 1966 when Bobby was found dead of what the LAPD ruled was a suicide, although many believe to this day that it was actually a homicide. Let Her Dance has always been my Bobby Fuller favorite and after doing some looking around tonight, I think it may have been covered more times than I Fought the Law.
