Long post, but these are the facts about equality in America : Africans sold Africans to Americans. Slaves rarely attacked their owners. Americans solely picked up guns and killed Americans, based on the belief that all men were created equal and to stop enslaving the colored race in our fairly newly established free country. We ran the underground railroad in the midst of it. Lincoln was Republican. Republicans elected their first black person into the House about 110 years before the democrats did. Republicans are, by some, viewed as racist.
