Long story.... So last Monday we are working in Palm Springs area and its hot and humid and the roads are washed out from the hurricane Norbert remnants. We go to Rocs Firehouse Grill for dinner and it happens to be same time as 93.7 is doing a Monday Night Football promotion. We choose Chargers to root for, get our raffle tickets and my number is the first one called. FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER IN MY LIFE I WON SOMETHING. Which is probably only because This Guy with the Luck of the Irish, aka Ryan, took my raffle ticket instead of my touching it. One fitted hat from radio station thats too big for me but I will TAKE it! And Ryan will wear it. Then we got a shot glass. Then we got toothpick dispenser contraptions. Then we got a squishy football. Then Ryan won an XL goldenrod yellow Chargers t-shirt (which I assume John E. Kelly or Andrew Steyers might be interested in?). Then Ryan got a Mad Season CD with 4 new songs. THEN we won tickets to the Oddball Comedy festival in Irvine for Sat and Sun. Starring Louie CK, Jim Gaffigan, Dimitri Martin.... AND THEN I made Ryan Meszaros run away from the bar cause I thought the natives would attack.
