Longmynd Hike 2.0 this weekend. After having walked this iconic 50-mile race over the South Shropshire Hills with my friends Michael, Hannah, Nick and Rebecca and having a great time last year, this year Im going to take advantage of the experience gained and run it. Joining me on the route will be my partner in crime and world record holder for the fastest playing card in a marathon, Lisa, coming down from Yorkshire on bullying duty, OK lets call it motivation ;) And coming over from Pembrokeshire Carwyn will join my posse, since we have to be grouped in 3s at night it might as well be Dappers together :) Well also be counting on fellow Dappers Rachael Bateman, local and Jonathan Gledson, up from Bristol , who will be running individually until nightfall, to help bring down our team time. Team Dirty Daps, Muddy Tracks is officially entered and it is the aggregate of the three fastest times that count :) Its a scout organised event so no tracking or any of the malarkey and no phone signal for much of the route either. Its going to be a great weekend :) Best of luck to all my other friends out racing this weekend
