Look... As Im getting older and grumpier ... I say it again and again and again , that the international criminal court has been and is undermind by its own Rome Statute ... This Rome statute is full of holes , where politicians (powerful western politicians, or empowered third world politicians) can always enjoy unlimited impunity and escaping accountability... I always thought that allowing legally the international criminal court (ICC) receiving and accepting cases referrals from the UN Security Council is something very very fishy indeed... Knowing very well the shameful record of the UN Security Council of being extremely biased and spread the culture of selective justice and even selective humanity ..... Basically international justice presented in in The body of the international criminal court should not be linked and dictated by political wills in which the UN Security Council is the true face of our world monopoly of destructive powers .... darfur case was referred to the international criminal court by the UN security council back in the year 2006... Eventually the prosecutor office of the international criminal court opened an investigation and the court issued arrest warrants ... But hey guess what??... The international criminal court has no police forces nor army... Its relaying 100% on states political will and cooperation to execute its arrest warrants and verdicts.... Mmmmmmmmmmmm.... Not perfect isnt it?... Did I say not perfect ?!!... Oh yes I did... And I assure you it wont be perfect until we actually have a 100% independent international justice system, where true justice isnt dictated by political wills and states financial funds... Mix the 3 together ...youll end up with a martyr called blinded justice ....
