Look, I know I post a lot of conscientising stuff about animals, but I just need to make one quick point. So in South Africa in excess of 60% of antibiotics are fed to farm animals. Two implications: a) we are collectively taking in a great deal more antibiotics than we consent to b) because the farm animals market share, in terms of antibiotics, is greater than the human market share -- we can see quantitatively what kind of an interest antibiotic producing pharmaceutical companies have in maintaining the animal agriculture industry This = not so awesome
