Look, I know theres much more important stuff going on in the world, but this rush to move out of RealityVille and into PC-Land is getting annoying. I posted one of my usual screamingly hilarious FB columns excoriating the mushy types about renaming The Redskins. I pointed out that if Snyder folded, the floodgates were open and soon classical music enthusiasts would be calling for the Utah Jazz to change their moniker, as the current one is Tunist. And, ultimately, I blame that bastion of Zero Free Speech, Truncated and Tunnel-Visioned Thinking, Over-rated Graduates, and Overpriced Tuition, Stanford University. Which, if memory serves, at one point were the Stanford Indians. Now, given their predisposition to graduating a passel of engineers of a particular persuasion, Id say this pretentious university changed their name about 40 years too soon. Mark my words, the hysterical Left wont stop with The Redskins or Ole Miss. Theyll continue until every competitively branded outlet is known as The Team. That will be every contest in every sport. The Team versus The Team. Thatll be some rousing weekend fun, eh?
