A Texas mother and her boyfriend have been charged with murder in connection to the 2012 death of her 2-year-old son found lying on the sidewalk with contusions all over his body. On November 17, 2012, little Steven Drouillard was discovered unresponsive on the ground outside his mothers apartment building in Pasadena, Texas. The toddler was wearing only a diaper, and his body was covered in more than 200 bruises, lacerations and bite marks. On Thursday, more than a year after Stevens death, a SWAT team arrested his mother, Christina Chadwick, and her boyfriend, Chad Wisnieski, both 29 years old. In 2012, Mr Wisnieski, who was not Stevens biological father, blamed the toddlers 5-year-old sister for hitting the 2-year-old on the head with a piece of plastic. Wisnieski told police that the child fell asleep on the couch next to him after the beating and never woke up. According to court records, the 29-year-old man later conceded that he did play rough with the toddler, including punching and pushing him in the stomach and tossing him in the air. Chadwick, a fast food server, was at work when Steven died on the ground outside their home in the 1100 block of Burke Road.
