Look at this is a message below from Mountain View High School, because of the CMAS push back they have now resorted to bribes and incentives for the High School senior to test. Please share this must be made known. Seniors: your upcoming Colorado Measure of Academic Success in Social Studies and Science is scheduled for Monday, November 10; Tuesday, November 11; and Wednesday, November 12, from 7:30 - 11:00 am each day. We have put together the following incentives for your mandatory participationin this event: Seniors that are in attendance, give it their best attempt, and complete the entire social studies and science assessment will receive a free individual ticket for Prom on Saturday, April 24, 2015. Students that are not in attendance and/or do not complete the entire social studies and science assessment will need to purchase a prom ticket for $35. Seniors that are in attendance, give it their best attempt, and complete the entire social studies and science assessment will be eligible to NOT be in attendance while the 9-11 grade students take the PARCC assessment in March/April (formerly TCAP). Individual teachers may have additional incentives in place for your completion of these assessments. Assessment Schedule: Monday, November 10 - Wednesday, November 12 Report to your assigned classroom by 7:30 am each day. Your classroom assignment is posted in each center. You may bring something to read after you have completed the assessment. Download TestNav prior to Monday, November 10. Make sure that your iPad is fully charged each day. You may familiarize yourself with the computer based testing. Below are some resources that you may use to accomplish this prior to testing next week.
