Look who is going to Florida to meet Winter the Dolphin!!! More importantly Im asking everyone to keep Kane and Lorna in your thoughts and prayers today. Kanes last test results showed a possibility of relapse and today he has his MRI, followed by 5 days of waiting for results. Lorna (Kanes Grandmother/Guardian) is the first person to introduce herself to my brother David when Aydain started his Chemotherapy at Radys. Kane was also receiving chemotherapy treatment in the room two rooms away. I was fortunate to have found Kane through his Go Fund Me donation site that Kanes day care provider, Dawna Cassidy Paquet set up for him not knowing he was even a patient at Radys or that David had met them. Kanes had to have his leg Amputated almost to his Hip to remove the tumor and stop the cancer from spreading. Immediately I knew this was not coincidence that I was drawn to this amazing little boy and his Grandmother. Kane is now our favorite patient at Hanger Clinic and is already worn out the rubber bottom of his 2nd prosthesis which is a Running Leg!!! The joy, inspiration, determination, positivity and strength. that Kane and his grandmother Lorna bring to our office is truly amazing to all of us and our other patients. This is confirmation that people are not put into our lives by chance but there is always reason. I am truly grateful that God put these people in my life and anybody that has been blessed enough to meet them knows!!! We love you Lorna and Kane!!!!
