Looking around myself today Im saddened by what I see. People in NY chanting what do we want dead cops, well three officers have been assassinated now, so youve got it. Where is the justice? Were they even guilty of a crime? All I see about me is raw emotion, absolutely no logic, no justice, no love. What is the effect these actions will have on the police force? Will it make them more aggressive and jumpy out of necessity? That seems probable. Will it make the officers who havent yet viewed their constituents as the enemy rethink that view? That also is very likely. They might as well have been chanting what do we want, more aggressive cops. Honestly emotion is ruining everyones judgement, they see the world how they would like it to be, twisting it to fit their goals and their failures instead of taking it how it is truly. Instead of raw emotion we should be looking at the world with logic, justice and love in mind. Taking into account facts and statistics over skin color. If a police officer kills someone illegitimately does it matter if they are white, black, green or chartreuse? He should be judged for his crime regardless. Each person should be judged by the content of his character, not the color of his skin, and that goes both ways. Naivety knows no bounds.
