Looking back at the #CometLanding event with great satisfaction... heres a video time capsule from the period when I was heavily involved with the Rosetta Mission on behalf SSBV. What an amazing adventure this was! This clip contains footage from our visit to the Rosetta spacecraft in the cleanroom at ESTEC (August 2002), officially to Do Work (maintenance on our Rosetta TM/TC SCOE communications equipment) but unofficially to extensively admire the flight hardware. The Philae lander (it hadnt been given that name yet, at that stage) can be seen mounted on the spacecraft. Also some fun animations (credits to ESA) of how one imagined Rosettas approach to the comet.
