Looking back on the year that has passed, I am grateful...and humbled. We have a blessed life, with these two beautiful kids. And when we decided I would stay at home and make them a priority, I knew it would be at the expense of a secondary income...and wed be fine. But we would forego those extra little things that we love getting to do for our kids. Well, then came the opportunity I rolled my eyes at...youve seen me post about it. I know so many of us have tried things like this, and it just doesnt work. Youre skeptical. I get it. I was too. But thankfully, my friend (truly just a facebook virtual friend and one of the best blessings in my life!!) Tasha Bertoldi (fellow former S&D stylist) just asked to do ONE THING I felt was fair: just LOOK at it. If you say NO, Ill never ask you again... she said to me. Lol! Now here I am. I said yes. Yes to the extra income that I never expected. Yes to keeping my kids and my family FIRST, while having a bit of an identity that belongs only to me (and the only way youll understand this is if youre at stay at home mom I know. But it feels good) and yes to the most AMAZING group of people, FRIENDS...who have so richly blessed my life beyond measure. I am excited to work this business in the little nooks and crannies I can find, and share my day with them. It lifts me up!! As a military family, today we packed this little family up...all the blessings of my life that money CANT BUY, will be together for a short little car ride to a super fun place to celebrate NYE. And that brings me to thr blessings money CAN buy... Happy New Year from the GREAT WOLF LODGE. May your heart be filled with hope for a great new year upon us. Love to all- XOX
