> Looking for Sales Engineer – Greater NYC Area Successful and fast growing IT security start-up is looking for a subject-matter expert Sales Engineer experienced with IT network security products. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the sales engineer will oversee the sales technical support of existing and prospective customers. Key Responsibilities: u Oversee the sales technical support of companys’ products to existing and prospective customers. u Work closely with the regional sales manager, prospects and partners as a subject-matter expert to demonstrate how a proposed solution meets and exceeds customer requirements. u Participate in sales conference calls and prospect visits, providing product demonstrations in person and online, and working with prospects at both a technical and business level to show how companys solutions can provide value to customer. u Participate as a technical resource at trade shows and conferences, when needed. u Work independently and as a vital member of a sales team. u Ensure successful on-site product evaluations and installations (hands on capabilities). u Plan, manage and execute customer product pilots. u Answer RFPs and RFIs and write technical documents u Partners training Desired Skills and Experience: u BSc in Computer Science or related field u 3+ years’ experience as pre-sales engineering. u Experience in IT security, Experience in real world use of security related solutions (deep knowledge in DLP is an advantage). u Possess demonstrable skills in customer-centric enterprise selling and a proven track record using it to help drive revenue. u Experience working with an international company/startup- an advantage. u Experience with Windows networks, especially with Active Directory and authentication mechanisms, knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, proxies and firewalls. u Able to effectively present technical material/train large groups including executive level audience. u Presentable, excellent written and oral communication skills and an engaging presence u Strong initiative, motivated to makes things happen u Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills. u Team player. u Willing to travel within the US send resumes to seisenberg93@gmail
