Looking for a SIDS Support Group within an hour of Havana, IL. I cant believe how difficult this is to find. Does anyone know of one any where? There are many grief support groups but they dont have young parents who have lost a baby. So frustrated that SIDS of Illinois has one listed on the website that hasnt been in existence for a long time and they dont even know it. Also disappointed the State of IL has cut back to one person working for SIDS of Illinois who has been out of the country for 2 weeks and we were told it may be a while before she gets to us. I feel like we want help and cant find it. We are told to go online and chat. Online doesnt work for everything. We want to talk in person to real people who have experienced this same kind of loss. Even the ones I have emailed online have not responded! Wondering if this is my next calling???
