The position brings together the community leasing and land advisory functions into one new combined role. This position has responsibility for the lease management of Councils Housing for Older People and Community facilities portfolio; and providing advice in relation to the acquisition, use and disposal of land and property. It is also responsible for ensuring Council follows and is compliant with legislation and statutory processes that applies to the acquisition, use and disposal of its property portfolio. You will contribute to the councils need to actively manage its extensive property portfolio and tenants to provide community services, support community development, and optimise asset value and performance. You will also lead a team that provides a range of advice and specialist technical services in relation to the acquisition, use, alienation and disposal of council land and property assets. If you have strong leadership, organisation and stakeholder engagement skills, have a sound understanding of property legislation and a strong customer service focus, then this is your next opportunity. Your Experience 5-7 years experience in a leasing or property management position and environment, preferably in a leadership role 3 years experience in managing or supervising a team Your Qualifications A tertiary qualification in property, valuation, law or finance (or related discipline) A current full and clean New Zealand Drivers Licence If this sounds like your next opportunity and you have the skills and experience that we are after, then apply today with your cover letter and CV.
