Looking for actors for the upcoming short film, Playback, which will be in production from October 21-28. The lead role is a PAID POSITION. Our team will be having a CASTING CALL on SEPTEMBER 6, from 5-8 P.M. in the Jerry Falwell Library, room 220A. Script sections will be provided at the event, so there is no need to have a monologue prepared. If you are unable to attend the casting call, we will accept video submissions at 1945films@gmail. The roles being cast are: Greg Hill: Male, upper 20s-30s. A medium-built bachelor working as a garbage collector. Must be available for the entire production week. Marie Esposito: Female, upper teens. Caucasian. An emotionally unsteady but courageous pregnant teenager. Day-player. Monica Davis: Female, 40s-50s. A no-nonsense matriarch who works as a nurse. Must be available for two days. Cara Laskey: Female, upper teens. Caucasian. An extroverted college student who is the daughter of Marie Esposito. Must be available for two days. Christian Laskey: Male, mid-40s. A gruff, chain-smoking mechanic. Day-player. Christina Laskey: Female, upper-30s. A kind divorcee raising a teenage daughter. Day-player. Christopher Laskey: Male, 50s-60s. A retired porch ornament who is hard of hearing. Day-player. Andrea Laskey: Female, 40s. The impatient mother of several children. Day-player.
