Looking for advice. There has been a stray in our neighborhood off post for a year now. It chases kids, people on bikes, digs holes in our yard, destroys outdoor decorations, brings trash to our yard...and today it tried to attack a kid running away from it. There are people who,against our wishes, built it a shelter and feed it in the neighbors yard (with her permission). We live by a school and kids are terrified of this dog. Yes weve all called animal control and it has proved to be useless. They always contact the people who feed the dog so they are here when they try to tranquilizer and even have them administer it. They give us the run around weve tried it all..chasing and tranquilizing it... and thats it. They also refuse to cite the women for providing the stray shelter and food. (OCGA 4-8-8 ) They refuse to shut the gate and catch the dog when its in their yard too. The community has had it and lost all faith in ACC. And have had it with these people feeding the dog that chases thier kids. These people with exception to the neighneighbor, do not live on the street and/or in the neighborhood. Any suggestions?
