Looking for an idea for a new club race that will attract paddlers. One of our WA clubs ( Ascot) runs a race called the Pairs Enduro. The idea being you find a partner and team up to each paddle a single craft of any class 13km one way down our Swan river. Each pair is sent off with a 1 minute gap to the next and the winner of the categories is the fastest time. 2 years ago the time seperating 1st and 2nd was 1 second, although the pairs of course had no idea what the time was while on the river due to leaving at different times.
