Looking for some feedback on a parenting pet peeve of mine please! If your teenager always has their floor completely covered in both clean and dirty clothes do you not owe it to them to teach respect and pride by implimenting a consequence. My other question is why spend lots of money buying him/her more clothes to treat disrespectfully as well? I know alot of parents say just close the door and let it go but I feel irresponsible for missing an opportunity to teach respect. ?????
