Looking for some input. I have four doxies and a fenced yard. Three doxies are fine, I can let them out they run around, play, do their business and come in when called. The forth, despite all our efforts digs under our fence and escapes into the woods behind our house. This morning he was missing for over an hour. I was terrified. I finally found him about six houses down, on top of a wood pile barking into the pile. So two things...has anyone had this problem and what was their solution? Has anyone tried one of these GPS tracking units that you can attach to your dogs collar? If so what kind of distance do they cover? In reality this dog was pretty close to me but he was so quiet (until he started barking) that I couldnt locate him. I am wondering if a GPS unit would be sensitive enough to actually lead me to him, or just to the area he is in, which will not really help. Thanks for any help!
