Come to Kanab for their first ever hot air balloon festival and battle of the bands; KANAB BALLOONS & TUNES ROUNDUP. February 26th- March 1st. Pilots will fly their balloons each morning at sunrise at the Coral Cliffs Golf Coarse just east of Kanab on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (weather permitting). Battle of the Bands will take place on Friday and Saturday; winner takes $1,000! Friday evening there will be a tailgate party at Parrys Lodge while Battle of the Band rages. Saturday there will be a street fair all day while Battle of the Bands continues. There will be fire pits throughout the vendor and crowd areas. Saturday evening the Balloon Glow will take place at 7pm and the winner of the Battle of the Bands will perform. This is where all the hot air balloons fill up on the street and glow for the crowds! Pure Magic! Buy a lantern at a vendor booth for the Lantern Launch following the Balloon Glow and watch the night sky filled with lanterns floating skyward. Awesome!
