Looking for something to do this Sunday morning (September 7) before the football game? Come on out to Centennial Park and participate in Howard County Police Departments annual Police Pace 5k Race and 1-Mile Fun Run. Over 800 runners and walkers have already registered, so dont miss out on this family-friendly event featuring displays of Howard County’s police equipment, patrol cars, motorcycles, K9s and the Volunteer Mounted Patrol, as well as face painting, balloons and other activities for kids. You can still register online through this evening or on-site the morning of the race beginning at 7:30 a.m. Individual registration is $50 and includes an event T-shirt and lunch; family registration is also available.
