We made this film in 2003 (it first aired in November, 2004). Unlike most of the films that Howard and I have produced and directed, we and our crew are featured on-camera. And there were some un-scripted and fun moments. There were also some not-so-fun moments, as we witnessed the effects of shark-fining. To that end, we appreciated the support we received from the folks at Nature (Executive Producer Fred Kaufman, Series Producer Bill Murphy, Series Editor Janet Hess, and others) regarding content, and especially for including Howards on-camera comments... filmed very opportunistically and included at the films end.
