Looking forward to this tonight. I can certainly understand the standpoint of Richard Dawkins and others who say scientists shouldnt [supply] creationists with what they crave: the oxygen of respectability in the world of real science by entering into publicized debate with them. But treating young Earth creationism as if its a valid school of scientific thought for one night is probably a low price to pay in exchange for an opportunity to promote rational progress as opposed to willfull anti-intellectualism.
