Looking forward to this weekend I am asking people to step up and come help out on Fire In Balance this weekend! It is the last weekend before we load up and head out and we have a lot to do. I am asking people to come at 10am both Saturday and Sunday. On Thursday the deck lumber arrived and it would be great if people were around today to help cut it down to the sizes we need. Saturday we will pre-assemble the whole deck on the floor below the floating fire ceiling piece which looks awesome!! On Sunday we need to test fit the legs and test the self erecting system as a team...sounds hot!! Then we need to break it down and start piling it up to go on the truck. Then the following week the laser cut steel is coming back and we will need help to get it sorted. Each piece is going to weigh like 250lbs and we will need to unload them (I will make another announcement as we near that time...) and we need to work on them in the shop before they get packed up. For those of you who cannot lift heavy stuff, there will be a lot of pulling things from the shop and packing them for the playa. I cannot state how important this task is. We need to bring what we need and know where it is. I cannot do it all alone. Any and all help will be appreciated.. I do not know if this will reach the masses.
