Looking out at this rain, makes it feel little more like spring, very sparse green patches peeking outta da snow too. I think I smell a little golf in the air, perhaps a ride out to Thornberry is in order to push the season and celebrate the retirement of good friend and golfer John Brueninger. He retires to pursue his life long dream, living the rest of his life on the golf course. Glad to see him retire while he can enjoy life. My Dad always said he retired so he could enjoy himself, he saw too many of his friends hit the path to the spirit world too early before they could enjoy retirment. He never changed his lifestyle, still worked around the house, visited the bars for his shake of the day, enjoyed his Miller lite and cigars and spending time with family and friends, the rest of his life. Wishing the same for you John.
