Interested candidates must be prepared to facilitate a friendly and informative environment and talking in an informed way to customers about products offered. Duties may also include: Opening and/or closing the market which can include unpacking and packing (respectively) produce and moving it from or to the cooler-This could also mean overseeing a volunteer doing that work; Restocking produce; Restocking non-produce; Counting the drawer in and out and making deposits; Updating price tags and displays as needed; Receiving non-produce items including verifying order to invoice, sell by date stamping, stock rotation; Cleaning the market (floors, coolers, bathrooms, register area, produce bins, other displays); Some inventory and ordering; Organizing donations.
