Looking to half lease out my gelding to the right person! This can either be a grooming/companion lease (Ive had many requests because he is such a sweetheart) or riding lease. Sid is a 16.3h, 5 year old Appendix. He has the height and look of a thoroughbred but the build, strength, heart, and mind of a quarter horse. He has never kicked, bit, reared, or bucked. He is a safe ride (and very safe on the ground, Ive had 4 year olds lead him around) but because he is young and still learning things in saddle, I would like someone knowledgable. He can go either western or english and I can provide tack. Sid has a very comfortable trot and a steady canter. Mainly, I have been working on poles, lateral work, softening to the bit, and basic dressage. I am looking for someone interested in a flatwork mount (emphasizing dressage but definitely not limited to) or just a fun horse to hack around the 170 acre farm. He is located at a very nice facility with 3 outdoor rings (1 specifically dressage) and 1 indoor, a lounge, and bathrooms (leasee will have access to all). Located in Woodbine/Mt Airy MD.
