Looking to join a winning barrel racing / gymkhana team? Check out our results below to see just how great these riders are. Magowan Ranch riders took the New Beginnings gymkhana by storm today! Novice 12 and Under Group: - Megan competed for her very first time and got ALL 1sts! She came home with the hi-point first ribbon too. Thats impressive! Novice Canter Group: - Morgan competed for her very first time as well and got two 1sts and two 2nds! - Emry competed for her very first time (Excaliburs too!) and also got two 1sts and 2nds. Of course, that means both girls TIED for hi-point and the tie-breaker left Morgan with the hi-point 1st ribbon and Emry with the reserve hi-point 2nd ribbon. 12 & Under Group: - Camryn made out with three 1sts and a 2nd, plus the hi-point trophy! Beautiful runs on her own horse, Joker, today. 13-17 Group: - Becca made improvements with Duke, coming back with a 5th and two 6ths. Good job handling a saddle malfunction too! - Makenzie took a 1st and a 2nd plus beat her fastest barrel time! - Reily was showing how fast old Noble goes, finishing with a 3rd, 4th and 5th. - Katie Z also improved her speeds, achieving a nice 5th and 6th on Rusty. - Brandy got a 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th as well with Letta! This was her first gymkhana in quite some time and they did wonderful. 18+ Age Group: - Sam and Coco made out with a 1st and two 3rds, plus the fastest time of the day in the last event (which was quite a nail-biter!) - Rachael competed on Duke and the two are learning to jive together! They won a 6th today. - Nekkei got a 1st, two 2nds and a 3rd plus the hi-point trophy AND broke her fastest barrel and pole times. She tied for hi-poit with Katie, but won in the end with the tie-breaker! - Katie competed on Sinn, the youngster in training, and was shocked to end the day with two 1sts, a 3rd and a 4th! New fast pole time for Sinn as well! -- Check it out! Magowan Ranch 18+ age group came back with ALL the 1sts, half the 2nds and ALL the 3rds!-- Next weekend is our first weekend off in 7 weeks.
