Looking to work in the Creative Industries? Do you need support in making the next step? Starting this February Pedestrian are launching a FREE training programme for creative entrepreneurs. Whether you are a graduate looking to turn your skills into employment or a creative/artist currently employed outside of your area of specialism, we aim to provide a meaningful training opportunity for 19-25 year olds interested in working in the creative industries. What’s on offer? A modular programme of training featuring 3 stages of activity. Make a programme that fits your requirements through mixing and matching the following 3 opportunities: The One With The Training” :: A one day training camp for 19-25 yr old creatives interested in the prospect of freelance employment in the creative industries. Featuring a mix of practical advice and training, as well as the opportunity to hear real-life stories, tips, and advice from some of LeicesterShire’s successful creatives. Receive 10 hours with your mentor to audit your skills and experience, identify areas for development and produce a plan of action relevant to your ambitions and expertise. Whether you need to purchase equipment, develop materials to promote your enterprise, or cover all manner of other costs to enable your creative enterprise to get started.
