Looks at car seats ( the infant seat he was in officially turned 5 this July) so we need something with a high height/ weight limit for rear facing since I plan on keeping him rear facing as long as possible (4ish years old) or until he requires a custom car seat, it needs to have great head support, a descent recline and has to be narrow enough that it will fit next to the other two car seats that we have across the middle row.. I have the option of putting Emerson on the third row but Im more comfortable with her in the middle sitting next to him since she is such a good helper, plus I worry about the danger of his wheelchair hitting her if its folded up in the back next to her... Also if there is a car seat on one chair and a wheelchair on the folded seats on the back row there is zero opportunity for Dietter (our Great Dane ) to have a spot. So moving Emerson to the back would be a last resort, and only with the condition that the folded wheelchair loaded in the back would be strapped down secure enough that it wouldnt pose a threat if an accident occurred. Does anyone have car seat suggestions for special needs child, or recommendations of individuals/ groups to ask??
