Looks like an interesting next 24hrs. Around midnight the Northern Lights may put up a good show. The weather for tomorrow indicates good sea watching conditions, best time will be the morning during the rising tide. Early harr may be a problem in some areas first thing. Im going to give Strathy Point one last try for this year. Another thing of interest, is we can expect higher Spring tides from Sept 2014 until Sept 2015 these are due to a 18.6 year cycle of alignment of the Sun, Moon and Earth. No need to panic we are talking about 10 to 20cm.
